



Bristol Borough Community Partnership is active in a county wide group of community coalitions, Bucks Promise for Children & Youth. The mission of Bucks Promise is to mobilize, build, and strengthen the communities around our youth in order to enrich the quality of life in Bucks County.
Goals
Communities That Care is a research-based community mobilization process providing tools to promote the positive development of children. America's Promise: The Alliance for Youth identifies Five Promises that, if made to every child and consistently fulfilled, will significantly increase the chance of our youth becoming successful adults. We combined these two initiatives in Bucks County, and developed both a countywide consortium, and eleven local collaboratives. In addition to the individual local effort, each community sends advocates to represent them at monthly county wide consortium meetings. These members come together to support each other's efforts and to seek ways to address problems that are common to all.
